I have the most amazing and wonderfully talented creative team... they jumped on board when I asked them to help me out...

So where did that week go?

I am at a loss as to where this past week has gone... I updated last what Thursday or Friday and since then the week has just sped right on by me...

Had the big girl home sick with a heavy cold last time I posted... she ended up home for the last two days of last week feeling miserable with the cold... she had perked up enough come Saturday to compete at the St John Cadets Competition... she was entered in the First Step pairs (leader for her two person team) ... and even though she was still struggling with the head cold she and her partner L... got a first place in their Healthcare Test and come Third OVERALL in the competition!!!!!!

Way to go Miss A and Master L... quite an achievement there... and Ellesmere as a team did pretty amazingly in all grades...


After a totally blob out Sunday it was back to the weekly routine... though that all kinda changed when Miss D woke up feeling uberly miserable with the cold she had caught off her sister... so nice to share things... shame it had to be a bug!

Anyway she ended up being home Monday ... should have known it was going to happen but by Tuesday I felt like a truck at hit me and just to make things fun... had backed up over me again a few dozen times to make sure I was well hit!

Yep you got it... the heavy cold the girls had struck me full on! But its a perfect excuse to stay tucked up inside and scrap or design... have done a bit of both which is good... can't share some of them with you yet though...
Enough all ready... looks like enough is not enough yet... as Chris is now full up with it too!

So there in lies my week...
and since I still feel like that dratted truck is taking swipes at me I decided a sale may be in order...

Now I have managed to get some designing and some scrapping in this week... so I am happy about that... working on a book for myself now after finishing the top secret project I had been working on... got lots of yummy old photos of myself... some of them I can not remember ever having seen... so that was a treat in itself... and I am 100% positive there are more of them round but just have to practice some patience there...

So here it is my new kit out... also available separately though I do have to point out the kit will save you more... and hey if you are like me you are always looking for a bargain...

But from the amazingly talented Suzanne of Roadside Designs... so incredibly easy to work with... I have a bit of a phobia about multiphoto pages but not using this gorgeous template... and lookie here... one of the photos my Dad sent me down... me and my grandmother many years ago and seeing the light of day again... gotta love that... just like I really love the gorgeous Hennai kit from Lynne-Marie @ Catscrap... seriously gorgeous!

It's a lovely day for a bike ride... and new designs...

a push bike ride that is... pedal power not engine power this time... just got back from a lovely long block ride... now the short block is about 6km... the long block is 17... feel good... all that glorious son beating down on us... a bonus of the chillier evenings and early mornings is the lovely sunny day that is a result...

and I am still working on those photos from our West Coast trip... its jsut that Alec and Edna keep dropping ideas into my head... Alec Lawrence the paper pack is out today... but expect a visit from them both very soon... maybe even next week...

I have truly been blessed

with some totally amazingly talented, warm, generous, down right gorgeous friends in my life... some of them I haven't yet met... but whether I have met them or not they are all very important in my life...
