Some days should be cancelled due to

a complete lack of interest! The flu jab chris and I both had the other day has hit us both quite hard... mine is all aches and pains and generally being freezing cold despite the heat pump being on and having a whole heap of layers on and his well he is still having to go to work but it's with a bunged up nose... aches and pains everywhere ... well you get the idea...

I have managed to get some thing achieved though... some of it has appeared in the shoppe at www.twolittlepixels now... wanna see it????

Sometimes you just have to ask yourself...

what on earth you were thinking...

Chris had Tuesday off work since he is now working a nine day stretch during the Boiler Shutdown... where they basically tear the boiler apart make sure everything is working as it should be, replace bits that need replacing ... well you get the idea!

So why did we think that Tuesday was a grand day for us both to get our flu vaccinations so that we didn't end up catching the flu while we were in Italy...

Why???? My arm feels straight out wierd... most of the time its just numb... and add to that the aches all over and being freezing cold most of the time! But Chris... well he has got the raw end of the deal... he has all the aches and pains along with the icky nose etc... and he still has to go to work and function ...

So I ask you... can you figure out why two relatively sensible people would do this to themselves???? HUH?


Now just so this doesn't end up a pity post I am going to add a wee page I did the other day... its only tiny... a 6 x 4 and uses this amazing little mini kit from Christine Honsinger (fiddlette) over at www.scrapartist.com as soon as I saw this kit I had the words "I love you to the moon and back" pop into my head ... this quote comes from a much loved book in this house "guess how much I love you"... so okay nowhere in the book does a cat and flying fish appear but this is just how it happened... and I like it... what about you???

Okay so where did that week go?

I swear I can't keep up with the days just flying by like this...

Though I did have a grand week... taking Chris in to pick up his new bike... two out this time and one back in... a BMW dual use bike and boy has it got a nice comfy pillion seat! time out with a girlfriend Wed... Thursday I found out how comfy the pillion seat was on Chris' new bike when we took it to Ashburton to get our International Drivers Permits... Friday, bike ride (this time the pedal power kind) with Chris... yeah I think you could say we have had a great week...

and I have two... thats right two new kits out this week at www.twolittlepixels.com one for each of my girlies... aptly named "Anya" and "Dannielle" they kinda sum up my girlies... so yeah you can buy the kit and save yourself $1.50 than if you bought each of the pieces seperately... now thats got to be a deal!

It's Friday

so that only means one thing... the weather is about to change! Well it seems like that it will be... for the last few weeks we have had chilly weeks though dry with wet miserably cold southerlies roaring up just in time for the weekend... the forecast says thats whats due again this weekend...

There is a bright spot to Fridays though... it means New Releases are out at www.twolittlepixels.com ... and this week for your viewing and/or scrap shopping pleasure you can find these in the store from me...

Northern Italy here we

come... yes you read right come August, Chris and I will be visiting Northern Italy... kind of a delayed honeymoon... but of course we found out after we had booked our flights and all of our hotels that lots of places will be SHUT in August including ...

the Guzzi Museum!!!!! How terrible is that!!!! you go all the way to Italy to see something and its not going to be open... drat it all... thats not going to put a damper on things though... we will still go to Mandello del Lario... and at least get a photo of us outside the factory and museum!
And there are of course lots of other sights to see in Italy...

Now you may have noticed I didn't mention the girls... Nana and Grandad Bus have kindly offered to come and look after them while we are away... so they are just as excited about that... and our next trip will be a family one in a few years time...

So between organising the trip... designing... keeping up with my CT duties... helping out at school and all the other mummy/wife stuff well you can see how crazy life can get huh?
