Means that 8 years ago today... my baby girl Dannielle was born...

it really doesn't seem that long ago that she made her rather hurried entrance into the world and now I have an 8 year old!

An 8 year old with an abundance of wonderful friends who loved on her big time right from the beginning of the day too!

After some serious tidying up round here we had the most amazing afternoon filled with yummy eats... (all bought since I still feel like crud)... giggles... a few tears, from the birthday girl herself... when her Mama accidentally clonked her on the head with a lolly during the lolly scramble! Ooops I swear I didn't do it intentionally!

Then Nana and Bryan round for dinner with us... now in our house the birthday person gets to chose whatever they want to eat... tonight was a fish and chip night as a result... also equals one very happy little girl... photos tomorrow after I haul them off the camera...
