We are back in Paris...

early... we arrived in Dijon yesterday... we were meant to spend a couple of days there... we had heard so many good things about Dijon and the hotels etc there ... we did take a drive through the centre of the city but since it was early on Sunday morning needless to say nothing was open!

One day however was MORE than enough... the supposed apartment hotel was shall we say was unpleasant at best and at worst disgusting!!!!

Thankfully we were able to add another night to our reservation near Disneyland... so here we are in a clean hotel... with real beds and more than enough bedding for all of us...

We avoided the toll roads which would have been quicker... but I do have to say the back roads were far more interesting to travel on... though you do have to be aware of husbands spotting obscure cars and pulling off the side of the road suddenly... hitting nearly every single pot hole along the way... wouldn't have been an issue in a Citroen... sadly we have a Volvo...
